WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:

# 1. Post a blog 3 times a week (M, W & F) of at least 200 words. In your blogs you could:
-describe something you learned
-explain something that surprised you
-give an update about stuff you're working on
-explain how you solved a problem
-tell a cool story

Also include images, sounds or video from your project.

# 2. Respond thoughtfully to another blogger's posts on this site. Post 1 of these response-blogs per week (200 or more words each).

Each of you is expected to contribute to this blog--even if you're working with another senior or with a group.

I'm really looking forward to following your project via your postings! Have fun!

SPEA

The first day I met with my sponsor she introduced me to the organization and it's history. She gave me many
tasks to do, however they didn't take long at all. I was to create a leave behind handout. This basically is a handout with information about how to get involved with SPEA to give the students after they do their presentation at schools. Also she wants me to work on making Layups for Life (what the girls basketball team did this year) a better success. Such as marketing it more and talking to people who were involved in it. I made a flyer, for high school teams participating in the event, to post around their school to raise awareness of their game and what they are doing. I also made a survey for trustees to take after they had a meeting last night. I am her go to tech help when it comes to anything involving the computer, and she has liked my work so far. She is often busy so I sometimes get the short end of things and pushed aside, but I think of ideas for myself to do and the propose them to her. Posted above are the two flyers I have made so far. I also changed the Layups for Life logo. Posted are the before and after. So far this is what I have done along with little minor things. I don't like having to sit in an office all day and stare at a computer, but today I went to school and worked on Photoshop and it was better, still I would have liked to be more active then just sitting, but I do get to do what I enjoy which is working with photoshop.
